Felting is a technique that works easily in conjunction with a variety of subjects & can comply with the national curriculum if required. Classes can range in subject from Science to technology.
I offer tuition for teachers (teacher training days etc) and individuals as well as groups of all ages and abilities. Individual study sessions are advisable for anyone who wishes to develop specific techniques in more detail.
Felting with special needs groups and/or individuals can offer an exciting day of discovery & accomplishment.

Felt is a good medium for short workshops as well as longer classes, the basic process is very simple. The work can be as colourful and as intricate as you wish, it is extremely tactile and relatively fast to produce with the minimum of equipment. Students can see the whole process from the natural state of the wool to the finished design in just one simple session.
